Create New Document context menu item missing in Nautilus 3 6 3

Create New Document context menu item missing in Nautilus 3 6 3

I recently installed the new Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 which comes with Nautilus(Files) 3.6.3.  While I am loving Ubuntu Gnome one annoying thing missing from Nautilus(Files) is the ability to right click and create a blank file(previously called "Create New Document" in the context menu) .  It was decided that this feature would be removed in the newer versions of Nautilus which seems like a strange feature to remove to me as it is incredibly useful.

If you would like to add the option back in you simply need to run the following command at the Terminal:

touch ~/Templates/Text File.txt

NOTE: you can add other types of files to the templates folder and they will also appear n the context menu.

Could this be the new more beautiful Moto 360

Could this be the new more beautiful Moto 360

As the first circular Android Wear watch the Moto 360 certainly impressed in terms of style, but a better successor was always inevitable. It looks like that successor might be here sooner rather than later, as an image of it has apparently been spied.

The photo was posted to Weibo by none other than Lenovos own CEO Yang Yuanqing, so it seems likely that its the real deal.

Its since been removed, but not before it was spotted by MyDrivers, alongside a quote which translates roughly to "Moto 360, matching the arrival of the era of freedom, in the future we want to increase the store features a watch shop."

Well take answers on a postcard as to what that means, perhaps its hinting at more customisation options? Thats certainly what the image itself seems to show, with a watch that looks a lot like the Moto 360 but seemingly with two different sizes available.

Small and colourful

The larger one looks like its probably around the size of the current Moto 360 and then theres another slightly smaller option, a promising sign for anyone who finds the current model too chunktastic.

As well as two size choices theres a wider variety of colours on show, with straps and watch faces in various gold, silver, black, brown and grey shades.

The design of the watch appears slightly different to the current Moto 360 too, with lugs on either side of the face to connect the strap to, rather than attaching it underneath the body. That may also mean that it supports normal watch straps.

There are enough changes here that it looks likely that this is an entirely new smartwatch, rather than just a variant on the existing Moto 360, but sadly one thing seems to have stayed the same: the black bar beneath the screen, leaving it as not quite a full circle.

Hopefully the final version ditches that, as well as packing in a better processor and a bigger battery. With an image already in the wild we might know more soon.

Cover of the new Halo novel Ghosts of Onyx!

Cover of the new Halo novel Ghosts of Onyx!

In this weeks Bungie update, Bungies Frankie interviewed the writer of all of the official Halo novels Eric Nylund. It was a good interview since I personally didnt know too much about him (he has a blog too! im subscribed). Im a big fan of the Halo novels though and I would totally be into any project that Nylunds involved in. He touches on the as-yet unreleased Halo novel Ghosts of Onyx but he doesnt spill any secrets. What we do get is a view of the completed cover and unfinished back of the book. And Frankie being the tease, tantalizes and mesmorizes with this tease:

ZOMG! Whats that crazy looking non-Spartan armor? Oh, wouldnt YOU like to know

Yes dammit, I would like to know! I am so ready for Halo 3. Bring. it. on.

Create file folder on new HD Partition easily Permission problem solved

Create file folder on new HD Partition easily Permission problem solved

After fresh Linux install we may find that we have no permission to create file or folder to a new or another hard-disk partition. This is a safety feature of Linux OS. We have to get permission to write in that specific hard disk partition. I think you can ask this in some various way.

No permission to create file or folder on another hard-disk partition drive. Look at the mouse pointer.

1. How to create file of folder on a new hard disk partition?
2. How to get permission to create file and folder to another hard-disk partition?
3. Writing is disabled on HD partition. How to enable it.
4. How to enable writing permission on a specific folder or in a hd partition drive? etc.

I have write two post about it. One is Can not create file folder on newly installed Ubuntu [Solved] and another is ext4 partition require password to view files. Both are quite geeky solution. But I discovered most easy way to do this job. That is enabling permission to write or create on another hd drive.

Here is the solution tips step by step.. follow the tutorial below...

• a. Open terminal from Menu.
• b. Type "sudo nautilus"
• c. Supply password (It will not shown. Go typing). You are going to get root privileged to change anything on that correspondence partition. A new Nautilus window manager will open.
• d. Now open that specific Hard disk partition or another drive using opened nautilus window manager.
•
• Right click menu on root nautilus. Click Properties to change options
• e. Right click there. A task menu will open.
• f. Point to Properties at the bottom of the menu and Click (Left click).
• g. Drive properties will open. Heed to Permission TAB.
•
Properties window. Heed to Permission TAB
• h. Here you can enable permission for System Owner or for Group or Others.
• i. If you just want to get writing permission for your own, then click on the drop down menu just behind the "Owner" text.
•
Hard disk Owner long menu
• j. A long menu will open.
• k. Scroll up or down and find your name their. Select your name.
• l. Change Folder access and File access to your name instead of ROOT. Give right to Create and Delete files permission for both.
• m. If there are many file and folder on that hard-disk drive then click once on "Apply Permissions to Enclosed Files". All file and folder access will not be locked to you.

Apply Permission to Enclosed Files to get permission to all files and folders which are found into that hard disk or any folder.

Everything has done. Just close that Properties window and return to your Hard Disk drive to check.
You will discover that now you are able to create file or folder on that hard-disk drive.

create file folder on another hard disk drive partition Now it will be easy for you creating or copying any file or folder on that hard-drive partition. Nothing will be locked for you. All locked folder and files will open instantly without any key. How funny???!!%%!

Metal Slug Defense V1 11 0 New Map German and Russian Far East

To sum up, this is the 5th map of the Metal Slug Defense V1.11.0 (the second special map).

The first 2 areas appear - German and Russian Far East

Honestly, with all the HOME and UNITS upgraded to the Max, these 2 new areas are not that challenging. In fact, i only summon the first 5 units in my deck - Leona, Clark, Ralf, Flying Tara and Morden Robot.

The good news is, after completing each area, 15 Medals are rewarded. Together with the Rank S awards, basically you will gain 36 Medals with this new updated map. :)

Anyway, I really look forward for more areas and challenges coming soon.
